Biopsy to Closure:

Surgical Oncologic Techniques for General Practice

June 2-3 2027

Transcend Veterinary CE is excited to offer a comprehensive 2-day soft tissue surgery course focused on surgical oncology, designed to provide practical techniques you can confidently incorporate into general practice.

Course Details

Throughout the course, participants will review biopsy techniques, discuss appropriate surgical margins (is it 1, 2, or 3 cm?), and gain a deeper understanding of what defines an appropriate fascial plane. You will have multiple opportunities to perform mass removals with closures using primary apposition as well as local transposition flaps.

The course will also include digit amputation, forelimb amputation, and mid-femoral hindlimb amputation procedures. More than just an oncology-focused lab, this is an excellent opportunity to strengthen and refine your surgical skills under the guidance of a Board-Certified Surgeon, Dr. Sara Ayres.

This course is open to all experience levels. Join our waitlist for priority registration.
